  Note; There are three main branches of tenses.

(1): Present      حال

(2): Past          ما ضی

(3): Future     مستقبل

(1): PRESENT:      حال  

Note; It has four branches.

(1)Present Indefinite Tens                  فعل حال مطلق     

(2) Present Continuo’s Tens              فعل حال جاری 

(3) Present Perfect Tens                     فعل حال مکمل   

(4) Present Perfect Continuo’s Tens   فعل حال مکمل جاری  

(1) Present Indefinite Tens   فعل حال مطلق

Definition: جب اردو فقروں کے آخر میں تاہے تی ہے تے ہیں آ جا ئے تو فعل حال مطلق

                          . کہلائے گا             

Verb: First form of the Verb       

Helping Verb: Do/ does        ا

 Formula;

Formula: Subject +First form of the verb +s’es’ies+object+.

For example;

                         Simple Sentences سادہ جملے   

English	Urdu
They get education.	وہ تعلیم حاصل کرتے ہیں۔
We fight with them.	ہم ان سے لڑتے ہیں۔
She abhors him.	وہ اْس سے نفرت کرتی ہے۔
You tantalize him.
She sends a letter.
We insult them.	ہم انھیں بے عز ت کرتے ہیں۔

                     Negative Sentencesمنفی جملے

Negative Formula: Subject+H.V+First form of the verb +Object+.

Forexamples:

English	Urdu
We do not eat food.	ہم کھانا نہیں کھاتے ہیں۔
She does not go to Karachi.	وہ کراچی نہیں جاتی ہے۔
They do not console him.
It does not rain.
You do not write a story.

                    INTORRAGATIVE SENTENCES

  سوا لیہ جملے                                                                

Formula: H.V+subject+Firdt form of the verb +object+?

For example:

English	Urdu
Do we like her?	کیا ہم اْسے پسند کرتے ہیں؟
Does he wash the clothes?	کیا وہ کپڑے دھوتا ہے؟
Does it rain?
Do they fight with each other?
Does Ali write a book?	کیا علی ایک کتاب لکھتا ہے؟

            Formal Sentences/Double interrogative

                              ادبی جملے

Formula; H.V+sub+not+1^st V+object+?

For example;

English	Urdu
Do they not invite them?	کیا وہ اْنھیں دعو ت نہیں دتیے ہیں؟
Does he not iron his clothes?	کیا وہ اْس کے کپڑے استرے نہیں کرتا ہے۔
Does she not cook food?
Do we not celebrate a picnic?	کیا ہم پکنک نہیں مناتے ہیں؟
Does she cook food?
Do Ali and Aslam go to Quetta?
Do they fight with each other?

                           Informal Sentences

                         غیر ادبی جملے           

Formula; H.V+not+sub+1^st V+object+?

For example;

English	Urdu
Do not we accept the Islam?	کیا ہم اسلام قبول نہیں کرتے ہیں۔
Does not he beat him?	کیا وہ اْسے نہیں مارتا ہے؟
Do not we invite them?
Do not they buy a frout?
Do not we advise them?
Does she ask from us?	کیا وہ ہم سے پوچھتی ہے؟
Does he add money?	کیا وہ پییسے جمع کرتا ہے۔
Do you answer me?
Does she attend the class?

               Present Continuous Tens         

فعل حال جاری                              

Definition; جب اردو فقروں کے آخر میں رہا ہے ۔رہی ہے۔رہیں ہیں ۔آجائے تو یہ فعل حال جاری کہلائےگا.                                            

Verb;      1^st .V with   “ing”

Helping Verb; IS - Are- am – امدای افعال

Formula; subject+H.v+1^st v with ing+object

                 Simple Sentences

For example;

English	Urdu
We are attacking on them.	ہم اْن پرحملہ کر رہے ہیں۔
You are allowing them.	آپ اْنھیں اجازت دے رہےہو
She is cooking food.	وہ کھا نا پکارہی ہے۔
He is arranging.
You are breaking chair.
The dog is barking.	کتا بھونک رہا ہے۔
They are biting.	وہ دانت سے کاٹ رہے ہیں۔
He is believing  upon me.

                        Negative sentences منفی جملے

Formula; sub+H.V+not+1^st with ing +object+.

For examples;

English	Urdu
He is not inviting them.	وہ اْنھیں دعوت نہیں دے رہا ہے۔
You are not abusing him.	آپ اْسے گالی نہیں دے رہے ہو۔
She is not making tea.	وہ چائے نہیں بنا رہی ہے۔
They are not digging a well.
He is not driving a car.
We are not enjoying.

                            Interrogative Sentences سوا لیہ جملے

Formula; H.V+sub+1^st V with ing+object+?

For example;

Are you joking?	کیا آپ مزاق کر رہے ہو؟
Is he entering  in the class?	کیا وہ کلاس میں داخل ہو رہا ہے؟
Am I declaring?	کیا میں اعلان کر رہا ہو؟
Are they earning money?
Is she defeating him?
Are you deceiving them?

For example;

Is he not abusing?	کیا وہ گالی نہیں دے رہا ہے؟
Are you not going?	کیا آپ نہیں جا رہے ھہ؟
Am I not joking?	کیا میں مزاق نہیں کر رہا ہوں؟
Is he not catching the ball?
Are you not selecting to us?
Am I not changing?

For example;

Is not he canceling the paper?	کیا وہ پیپر منسوخ نہیں کر رہا ہے؟
Are not you abusing them?	کیا آپ اْنھیں گالی نہیں دے رہے ہو؟
Am not I cutting the tree?	کیا میں درخت نہیں کاٹ رہا ہوں؟
Am not I talking with you?
Is not she speaking English?
Am not I weeping?

                              Present Perfect tens

فعل حال مکمل                    

Definition;جب اردو فقروں کے آخر میں چکا ہے ۔چکی ہے ۔چکے ہیں ۔آجائے تویہ فعل حا ل مکمل زما نہ کہلائے گا.                                       

Verb;                  3^rd of the verb   

Helping verb;        امدای افعال

For example;

He has completed his work.	وہ اپنا کام مکمل کر چکا ہے۔
They have detested her.	وہ اْس سے نفرت کر چکے ہیں۔
We have fought them.	ہم اْن سے لڑ چکے ہیں۔
She has cooked food.
It has rained.
Ali has caught the ball.

                     Negative sentences منفی جملے

Formula; sub+H.v+Not+3^rd of the verb object+.

For example;

We have not gone to picnic.	ہم پکنک نہیں جا چکے ہیں۔
They have not abused.	وہ گالی نہیں دے چکے ہیں۔
She has not cut the tree.	وہ درخت نہیں کاٹ چکی ہے۔
We have not drowned in water.
She has not decided with them.

Informal Sentences غیر ادبی جملے

For example;

Has not he gaped her?	کیا وہ اْسے نہیں گھور چکا ہے؟
Have not you helped them?	کیا اْپ اْن کی مدد نہیں کر چکے ہو؟

Present perfect continuous tens

فعل حال مکمل جاری

                        Identification;

 پہچان؛جب اردو فقروں کے آخر میں تا رہا ہے،تی رہی ہے،تے رہے ہیں آجائے تو فعل حال مکمل جاری زمان کہلاتا ہے۔

Verb; first form of the verb with ing.

H.V; has been, Have been  

Simple sentences سادہ جملے

Formula; sub+H.V+1^st with ing+object+since/for+time+.

For example;

English	Urdu
I have been working since 2012.	میں صبح سے کام کرتا رہا ہوں۔
They have been washing their clothes for two days.	وہ دودنوں سے آن کے کپڑے دھوتے رہے ہیں۔
It has been raining since morning.	صبح سے بارش ہوتی رہی ہے۔
We have been acting on rules since 2014.
She has been cooking food since morning.
Ali has been attacking on enemies for 3days.

Negative sentences; منفی جملے

Formula; sub+has/have+not+been+1^st V with ing+ object+since/for+time+.

For example;

English	Urdu
I have not been taking tea since morning.	میں صبح سے چائے نہیں پیتا رہا ہوں۔
You have not been ironing clothes since last Monday.	آپ پچھلے ہفتے سے کپڑے نہیں دھو تے رہے ہو۔
She has not been answering him for one week.	وہ اْسے ایک ہفتے سے جواب نہیں دیتی رہی ہے۔
She has not been studying since last night.
I have not been abusing him for three weeks.
It has not been raining for two days.

Interrogative Sentences; سوالیہ جملے

For example;

Has he been working for two days?	کیا وہ دودنوں سے کام کرتی رہی ہے؟
Have you been beating him since morning?	کیا آپ صبح سے اْسےمارتے رہے ہو؟

Have you not been accepting the Islam for one month?	کیا آپ ایک مہینے سے اسلام قبول نہیں کرتے رہے ہو؟
Has she not been abominating since 2013?	کیا وہ2013سے پرہیز نہیں کرتی رہی ہے؟
Has she not been adding money since last week?	کیا وہ پچھلے ہفتے سے پیسے جمع نہیں کرتی رہی ہے؟
Have you not been allotting the good for 20 days?
Has he not been alluding him sine morning.
Have we not been appreciating since last Friday?
